Update 1.7 introduces new Quests, including Weekly and Special Event Quests, and brings a special visit from Bottle and Cappy, the mascots from Fallout 4’s latest add-on, Nuka-World, available August 30 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Update 1.7 Content Includes:

• New Quests and Quest Types: A ton of new Quests have been added to the Overseer’s Office for sending Dwellers into the Wasteland on exploration and combat excursions. In addition, new Quest Types, including Weekly Quests appearing every Friday and Special Event and Holiday Quests, will now be available. For the impatient Overseer – players can now spend Nuka-Cola Quantum to skip Quests.

First Fallout 4 patch released new features and fixes - PC

Two new features to try allow a keyboard’s number pad for remapping and Remapping Activate now works on Quick Container.

1. Log into Steam
2. Right Click on Fallout 4 in your Library
3. Select Settings
4. Select Betas
5. A drop down menu will appear. Select Beta Update
6. Select OK.
7. After a few minutes and Fallout 4 should update.
8. Fallout 4 will appear as Fallout 4 beta in your Library

Intelligence	Intelligence +1	Boston Public Library	In the northwest corner of hte Library, reach the mechanical room on the second floor. The Bobblehead is on the computer bank.
Lockpicking	Lockpicking is made easier	Pickman Gallery	Head to the lowest levels of the Gallery and you'll find Pickman being held up by raiders. The bobblehead is located on the ground between the brick pillars near a flaming trashcan in the center of the room.
Luck	Luck +1	Spectacle Island	Located on a green tugboat in the southern part of the island, you'll find the bobblehead in a locker next to the steamer trunk.
Medicine	Stimpacks heal 10% more damage	Vault 81	Take the elevator down to Curie's office. The bobblehead is on a desk.
Melee	+25% cirtical damage with melee weapons	Trinity Tower	Inside the cage where Rex and Strong are being held at the very top of Trinity Tower.  You'll need to take elevators up to reach the top floor.
Perception	Perception +1	Museeum of Freedom	Located on a metal desk in the chamber where you first meet Preston Garvey.
Repair	Fusion Cores last 1-% longer	Corvega Assembly Plant	Head to the roof and follow the blue catwalks until you reach the top exterior gantry.
Science	Get one extra guess when hacking terminals	Malden Middle School (Vault 75)	Head to Basement Level 3, the bobblehead is on a desk overlooking the subterranean "Diner" area.

Fallout 4 Monsignor bug breaks the game - PC PS4 XO

A major bug has been found in ALL versions of Fallout 4 after taking on the Minuteman settlement quest to Monsignor Plaza.

Nothing appears to fix the bug so all you can do is wait for the patch to be released.

Stopping Fallout 4 frame rate dropping on Xbox One

It has been reported that you can eliminate almost all frame rate issues with the Xbox One edition of Fallout 4 by installing it onto an external Solid State HDD.

You'll as be rewarded with faster saves and area load times.

Or you could wait until Bethesda release a patch, but going by how long it took to update Skrim that could be a long wait!

1 - Double charge your Laser Musket
You can actually double charge your Laser Musket by simply reloading a second time. Yes, double to power to don those enemies.

2 - Check out VANS Quest Trail Perk when there are no enemies
You can hold down 'Q' ('L1' PS4 or 'LB' XO) to enter VANS thus checking the VANS Quest Trail Perk route to next object.

3 - Drop your junk whenever you can
As soon as you see a workbench 'Press T' ('Y' on XO) ('triangle' on PS4) to drop your junk into the container. Don't worry, its not gone, it will be available at all workbench. And it frees up space to gather more.
