King's Bounty: Armored Princess is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Kings Bounty: The Legend. Players will take on the role of Princess Amelie who travels around the world of Teana and searches for the renowned knight, and her mentor, Bill Gilbert.

This new world of Kings Bounty: Armored Princess is full of mysteries and dangers. The new character, the Princess, will encounter horrible creatures, huge monstrous bosses and a new race, the bloodthirsty Lizards. As in the multi-award winning game on which this expansion is based, the player has many options to resist these new enemies.

Various new skills and characteristics of Amelie as well as her chance to fly will help her overcome the hordes attacking the kingdom. The Princess is also accompanied by a Domestic Dragon, at the very beginning small and amusing, but its abilities develop steadily until it becomes an incredible ally. He will do his best to protect the Princess during the battles, starting with easy blows and treasure hunting and finishing with battle rage and volcano summoning.

Can Nintendo's @ Play shop rival Apple's iTunes and App Store?

Open up the latest portable game gadget from Nintendo, the DSi, which goes on sale today, and you'll be able to log onto a new online store carrying a small catalogue of software titles. If you see one that grabs your interest, you can buy and download it to your device on the spot, with prices starting at $2.

This type of purchase probably doesn't seem exotic any more, thanks largely to Apple. Apple's App Store, which offers software for its iPhone and iPod Touch, has had 800 million downloads since it opened last summer. Now, other mobile gadgets like Nintendo's DSi are quickly creating their own retail outlets on the Web. Last week, for example, Research In Motion rolled out an online software store for its BlackBerry users, called BlackBerry App World. Smartphone makers Nokia and Palm have similar offerings on the way.

Moore, a 35-year-old Sterling resident, had been spending his working life pulling down six figures as a network security professional - a job he liked well enough.
But after reading a few get-rich-quick stories about programmers making good money from selling applications designed to run on the iPhone or iPod Touch, he decided to give it a go. How hard could it be?

SuperCar Challenge - world's first PlayStation 3 third-party beta trial

playstation 3 beta racing game
London based videogames publisher System 3 today launched the first ever third-party PlayStation 3 Beta Trial to an audience of just under 2,000 hungry racing enthusiasts. The SuperCar Challenge Online Beta Trial allows gamers, journalists and retail alike the chance to get their hands on System 3’s brand new racer and take part in 1-16 player online battles.

Many racing options are available allowing gamers of any ability level to take part. Whether you’re a rookie simply looking for an adrenaline rush or a hardened pro with a race wheel and pedals set-up, there’s a handling model in the game to suit you.

Participants can choose from the Enzo Ferrari, Lamborghini Murcielago RGT or the Aston Martin DBR9, and throw them around two fantastically detailed GP tracks: Spa and Nurburgring. Gamers even have access to the both dry and wet race conditions so it’s a great pre-cursor for this weekend’s Malaysian GP!

SuperCar Challenge Brand Manager Chandra Nair seems to think it’s all going swimmingly so far: “It’s an honor to be the first third-party to be allowed to do a beta trial with Sony, and on a global scale too. We’re really proud of the fact that we’ve got proper 16-player, voice-over-IP racing going on between people as far apart as the UK and Australia, without any lag. Everyone involved is having a lot of fun and it’s a fantastic milestone for us”.

SuperCar Challenge is set to launch on the PS3 in Q2 2009.
