Arma 3’s second campaign episode ‘Adapt’ now available - Trailer

Bohemia Interactive today released the second episode of the official campaign for Arma 3. In the new episode, titled ‘Adapt’, players take on the role of Ben Kerry, a soldier trapped on the island of Altis following a Mediterranean flashpoint. The new campaign episode's release is accompanied by a brand new trailer.

While the first part of the campaign introduced players to Arma 3's basic infantry combat and story, episode two opens up the military sandbox further, challenging players to adopt guerrilla tactics in the face of against a stronger, better-equipped enemy. The Adapt episode is made available to people via an automatic update on Steam.

You play Ronan O'Connor, a detective in Salem who has a few skeletons in his cupboard even before the game starts.

The game takes place in Salem Massachusetts where you can explore New England style wooden houses, gothic churches, narrow streets while searching historic landmarks for clues. You have to fight demonic spirits in your hunt to reveal who was originally responsible for their deaths.

Machinima were paid by Microsoft to include Xbox One content in their videos

Content providers on the Machinima channel were paid and extra $3 per thousand views for videos that showed a positive view of Microsofts Xbox One console. Video must contain 30 seconds of Xbox One gameplay in the first two minutes and were tagged XB1M13. The agreement also contained this rule... "you may not say anything negative or disparaging about Machinima, Xbox One or any of its Games."

After a large drop in Nintendo profits partly due to poor Wii U sales the games giant is believed to be considering allowing it's portable games onto mobile following SEGA's lead.

Nintendo have also reduced their sales forecast for Wii U and 3DS Wii U down from 9 million to 2.8 million that's almost a 70% drop! 3DS sales forecast has been dropped from 18 million to 13.5 million.
