Abertay University - Finalists of Dare Academy 2019 revealed

The finalists of Abertay University’s Dare Academy video games design competition are announced today as Dundee’s Summer of Games gathers pace.

Six innovative student teams have made it through to the contest’s summer hot-housing phase, which will see them develop new games while benefitting from mentoring and guidance from top industry professionals.

Constructor Plus game released on Steam PC

Constructor Plus is out today on PC, joining versions available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Mac. Owners of earlier instalments of the Constructor games are being offered a gem of a deal to thank them for their loyalty, and can buy Constructor Plus at 50% of the full price.

The original Constructor was a roaring success and presented players with a unique twist on the RTS format and a wily, no-holds-barred sense of humour. The construction simulator sees players rise from a small-time slumlord to inter-planetary property tycoon, using a huge variety of nefarious means to disrupt the competition.
