Psyonix Studios announced today that Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars is now available across Europe for download on the PlayStation Network on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system.

Battle-Cars features several unique rocket-powered cars with incredible physics-based maneuverability, including the ability to rocket into the air or accelerate at supersonic speeds on the ground by racing over boost strips, obtaining boost capsules or by performing a rapid succession of acrobatic flips. While in the air, cars can roll, flip, jump, dodge or spin in a freestyle fashion. In the team-based football game, players maneuver their vehicles to perform breathtaking saves, awe-inspiring shots and of course achieve supersonic speeds that literally turn your opponents into scrap metal. These abilities, combined with the players' own creativity and skill create a unique and thrilling experience every time.

The European release of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars will also include the recent US update that saw the addition of new features as well as a new Battle-Car arena.

Like other Battle-Car arenas, "Cosmic" places the focus on teamwork and communication, but never lets fun fall in second place.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars is available now as a free trial featuring both offline and online gameplay with full version players. The trial version can be updated to the full version for only €9.99 (£7.99) on the PlayStation Network.

Rock'n'Roll icon Motorhead's Lemmy on Guitar Hero Metallica

Once honoured by Metallica with seven Motörhead covers performed as “The Lemmys,” GRAMMY® Award-winning legend and lead vocalist and bassist of Motörhead, Lemmy, will take his rightful place on stage alongside Lars, James, Kirk and Robert in Activision Publishing Inc.’s Guitar Hero® Metallica this spring.

Persona 4 video game out in Europe in March

Atlus’s Persona 4 will be released across PAL territories on 13th of March 2009, exclusively on the Sony PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.

Punk and Rock tracks added to Rock Band video game tracks

The addition of two bands that are set to make their first Rock Band® appearance next week. The three track lineup coming to the Rock Band Music Store catalogue of downloadable content includes two songs from heavy metal band White Zombie and a track from punk band Turbonegro.

White Zombie offers Rock Band fans access to the hit single “More Human than Human” from its 1995 album Astro-Creep: 2000, as well as “Black Sunshine” which was initially featured on the band’s La Sexorcisto: Devil Music album (1992). White Zombie’s lead singer, Rob Zombie, released his solo offering “War Zone” on the Rock Band Music Store last month.

In addition, Rock Band goes International again with “Wasted Again” from Norwegian punk band Turbonegro, which was featured on the band’s 2005 album Party Animals.

Cronous: Season 2, Episode 4 General Seo Kan Update

Cronous, a popular MMORPG developed and published by Lizard Interactive, yet again came up with another update for its players.

Episode 4 General Seo Kan of Season 2 is a continuation of Ice Queen story. In the Episode 3, all hell broke loose with the wrath of the Ice Queen as she lost her son, Prince Berkiel. In this update, tells a story of a General Seo Kan, a loyal and brave servant of Ice Queen, as he sets out to find the lost prince.

Legends of Norrath - Against the Void video game follow up to Ethernauts

Sixth Expansion Adds 280 New Cards, New Loot and New Scenarios

Players can battle mighty foes, collect valuable loot and follow in the footsteps of Norrath’s greatest heroes with the sixth Legends of Norrath set, Against the Void, available from Sony Online.

Against the Void takes the epic story of the previous release, Ethernauts, into compelling new territory while also adding more than 280 new gameplay cards, 16 new loot cards for both EverQuest and EverQuest II, two new playable avatar races and 10 brand-new scenarios.

The launch of Against the Void also marks the extension of SOE’s five booster pack promotion through September 30, 2009. All EverQuest® and EverQuest II subscribers with paid subscriptions in good standing will receive five digital Legends of Norrath trading card booster packs per month at no additional cost during the promotion period.
