Funny business abounds as you step into the oversized shoes of a struggling clown and fight to save a 12-year-old’s disastrous birthday party in an hour-long comedy RPG full of hilarious hijinks!

Mad Herons, a brand new indie game studio founded by LA improv comedy veterans Jacques Mouledoux, Karen Park, and Nick Park announced today their debut title SEND IN THE CLOWN, a bite-sized, comedy adventure that sees players dive headfirst into the role of Pockets, history’s least-appreciated clown.

The new clips offer the clearest look yet at Voidwood in action, from exploring and scavenging through its colorful cursed forest to the increasingly dangerous scramble to survive once darkness falls.

“One of the things we really wanted to do with Voidwood was make team communication something you need to survive, but also your greatest liability,” said Shawn Seibert, Founder & Creative Director at Santa Barbara Games. “You have to group up, you have to whisper, and then at times you have to split up, and you can’t communicate. This footage is the closest we can get you to what that actually feels like without handing you a headset.”
