Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath Oddworld video game returns on Playstation 3

The return of the critically-acclaimed Oddworld series - with an enhanced remake of the award-winning Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath coming to PlayStation 3 next Easter. Originally released in 2005, first- and third-person action-adventure Stranger’s Wrath marks the multi-million-selling series’ first appearance on a PlayStation console since 1998’s Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus. The game will be made available as a digital download via PlayStation Network.

DanceDanceRevolution: Get Ready to Move on PlayStation 3 Sony’s new motion-control system to revolutionise classic dancing series

DanceDanceRevolution (working title) for PlayStation 3, with the familiar gameplay extended to full-body movement via its use of Sony’s new PlayStation Move motion-controllers. Dance Dance Revolution maintains its use of the dance mat controller, as players match on-screen arrows with the corresponding foot actions on the mat, but takes the dancing elements to all new heights as players are charged with using their entire body to match additional screen markers during the course of a track. The combination of mat and PlayStation Move means that actions from both the upper and lower body are now registered, with areas of the screen indicating when they must be touched. This allows total freedom of movement on the player’s part, with the screen areas allowing users to adopt a comfortable dancing style.

Broken Sword: The Director's Cut Steams onto PC Download

Revolution Software has today announced that the Director's Cut of celebrated adventure game Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars is now available to download on PC across all major games download sites - with the Mac version being released within days. A retail version, to be published worldwide by Mastertronic, will follow shortly.
