Capcom announce that Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles would be available exclusively for Nintendo Wii, November 17, 2009 for $49.99 in North America. Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles features an intense horror experience with arcade style zombie shooting gameplay that one or two players can enjoy simultaneously.

The Kitty Claw video game Invades the iPhone Mid September 2009

Natsume Launches Harvest Moon Magical Melody video game For Nintendo Wii

Natsume announce that it has released Harvest Moon: Magical Melody for the Nintendo Wii. The re-release of the Player's Choice Nintendo GameCube game will be a GameStop exclusive with an MSRP of $29.99.

In Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, the Harvest Goddess has been turned to stone and the Harvest Sprites need the help of the player to bring her back. Players need to collect musical notes in order to restore the Harvest Goddess to her former self. There are 100 Musical Notes to collect in total; players will need to complete all manner of farming feats if they want to collect them all.

Batman: Arkham Asylum Video Game to be released this Friday - with video

In Batman: Arkham Asylum, BATMAN finds himself trapped inside the confines of Gotham’s psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane, ARKHAM ASYLUM. Cyanide, the Paris-based video game development studio, announce the addition of a brand-new class for Dungeon Party, its madcap and fast moving, dungeon crawling free-to-play. The Bard joins the hilarious trio composed of the Wizard, the Thief and the Executioner and, just like his companions, he will break heroic fantasy codes by playing neither harp nor lute, but rock ’n’ roll.

Denki Video Game Developers Sponsoring British Matchplay Scrabble Championship

The 2009 British Matchplay Scrabble Championships will be sponsored by digital toy factory Denki, creators of the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game Quarrel.

Escapist Launch 'Atomhex' Video Game

Escapist Games Limited announce that AtomHex, "that crazy multiplier arena shooter" by Mark Incitti has been launched on the Xbox 360 Indie games platform for a paltry 80 Microsoft Points.

You may remember Mark Incitti as the guy who got into trouble with Bizarre Creations after developing a Geometry Wars clone that was so good, it began to eat into their sales. Well now he’s back, but this time it’s with an entirely new and completely different game, far superior to both Geometry Wars and his original clone.

AtomHex is a colourful, fast-paced shooter where you pilot your ship through a world filled with harmless Atoms and Hexes. Change your colour to successfully despatch the hexes, and attempt to survive the chaos as atoms combine with hexes and release their deadly offspring.

NHL 10 features a new first-person fighting engine that enables players to trade punches with an NHL tough guy. UK violent video games can be sold to children due to legal loophole

Retailers who sell violent video games to children in the UK cannot be prosecuted because of a legal blunder 25 years ago.

The Video Recordings Act (VRA) was brought in by Margaret Thatcher's government and set down that video games must be classified and age rated by the British Board of Film Classification.

It made it illegal to sell violent video games to children.
