Free NetHack video game - Role Playing Game RPG PC Mac Linux

NetHack is a single player dungeon exploration game that runs on a wide variety of computer systems, with a variety of graphical and text interfaces all using the same game engine.

Unlike many other Dungeons & Dragons-inspired games, the emphasis in NetHack is on discovering the detail of the dungeon and not simply killing everything in sight - in fact, killing everything in sight is a good way to die quickly.

Each game presents a different landscape - the random number generator provides an essentially unlimited number of variations of the dungeon and its denizens to be discovered by the player in one of a number of characters: you can pick your race, your role, and your gender.

Cronous - new patch update on August 28

Boss Monsters to drop more precious Items starting with new patch update on August 28, 2008

Lizard Interactive will release a new patch for Cronous, the immensely popular free–to-play action MMORGP game. The new patch will spawn Boss Monsters with higher quality loot at the Tower of Despair which was added as part of an expansion to Cronous in earlier this month.

Floors at the Tower Of Despair will have level restrictions and Boss Monsters on each floor will drop weapons and armor needed at higher levels. For example, floors 11 to 20 will be restricted for players with levels between 11 and 20. Items dropped by Boss Monsters on floors 11 to 20 will be for players with levels between 21 and 30. This is a more logical progression and gives players much more incentive to clear the floors of Boss Monsters.
The ‘Blood Of Matariel’ event, from August 28 to September 11, will also start with the new patch release. During the event, Boss Monster Matariel who hangs out in Evil Cunabula will drop blood every time you defeat it. Matariel’s Blood is a very rare material need to make fine magical Voodoo armor and Matariel jewelry.

The extensive single player mode has three different ways to enjoy the mini games. Training Mode lets you warm up your brain with a variety of mini games, Challenge Mode gives you all sorts of different objectives to achieve in each category of game and Test Mode allows you to track your progress over a period. Hilarious prizes are awarded based on your brain power output in Kilojoules (kj), for example 700kj is a vacuum cleaner and 1500kj is a juke box.

In a colourful shake-up to the dry science that marks other ‘mental ability’ titles on the market, Buzz!: Brain Bender brings colour, comedy, accessibility, social multiplayer fun and the all-important trademark Buzz! humour to the genre. Up to six people can take each other on in the ‘Brain Battle’ Multiplayer Mode by passing around a single PSP – giving you a sociable gaming experience where the winner can claim victory over his or her opponents

Key features include:-

· Sixteen brain-bending mini games across 4 categories: Analysis, Observation, Memory and Calculation.

· Extensive single-player mode that offers three ways to enjoy the mini games: Training Mode, Test Mode & Challenge Mode

· Multiplayer ‘Brain Battle’ Mode where players take on 6 friends on one PSP passing it around

· Four player profiles can be saved – compare your progress with friends and family
A completely new and different Buzz! experience, Buzz!: Brain Bender reaches parts of the brain that previous Buzz! titles never have before. Let Buzz! test your brain and tickle your funny-bone when Buzz!: Brain Bender is released this Christmas.

Digg removed from gamezplay and account deleted - They don't Digg video games

Digg have removed my account and deleted my listing after they accused the site of spam...

I have over 4000 posts and NONE are spam. The problem appears to be their algorithm. Yesterday I posted over twenty stories from the Leipzig Computer Fare Fact sheet series. Apparently others published the same Fact sheets (perfectly OK).

Digg checked the duplicates and accused this site of copying others work - they're so dumb they cannot see the differences. After I emailed them and received a standard reply informing me that they have deleted my account and marked the site as spamming...

This decision cannot be changed - apparently so I have removed Digg buttons from the bottom of my postings.

Sorry, to all those people who Digged my stories - feel free to contact Digg and complain here...
