By harvesting crops, raising animals, and mining for precious gems, players will help the island grow into a vibrant town filled with people, businesses, and eligible bachelors and bachelorettes! Players can take on the role of a male or female in their quest to find love and start a farming family.

She’s 17 and she’s blonde, she only faces “problems“ with her hair and make up.

She doesn't need to worry about anything when she (Sunny) cruises with her rich parents in the Caribbean to celebrate their wedding day.

Suddenly a thunderstorm hits their ship, she falls overboard into a life boat. When she regains consciousness, she's been washed ashore onto the beach of an desert island. She's alone and has no idea where her parents and all the other cruise shippers are – she’s lost.

That's the PC version of Steve Ince’s adventure game - So Blonde. Back then, Sunny faced that beautiful Caribbean scenery – now, in So Blonde for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS, it's all changed: The island appears dark, no one is to see at the shores and strange black sand crunches underneath Sunny’s feet. 

Rugged rocks border the beaches – Sunny has to make up something to get to the inner island. What was that up there on the cliff? Wasn’t there a man? If so, why does he ignore Sunny’s cry for help? Sunny will face a new adventure…

So Blonde for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS is a completely new adventure game, based on the beautiful heroine of the already-released PC versions. This time, the game’s story, again written by adventure gaming legend Steve Ince, makes Sunny explore the dark side of the Forgotten Island, where she stranded.

Some of the incidents happening on the island are the same as in the PC version – but this time, Steve Ince drives the story into a completely new direction. Other islanders are coming to the fore and are taking over the lead roles in So Blonde for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.

Both version’s controls have been adapted to fit Nintendo Wii Remote, Nunchuk and Nintendo DS-Touchpen easily. So, point & click control feels as it’s meant to be. Birth of America II: Wars in America 1750-1815 new PC video game

Fight Indian tribes to secure crucial lands in the Battle of Fallen Timbers.

Birth of America II - Wars in America 1750-1815 the sequel historical strategy PC game Birth of America. Out September 2008, the new historically accurate battle strategy game lets players experience wars in North America between the years of 1750 to 1815.

The Battle of Fallen Timbers (1791-1794) saw American military forces fight Delaware and Shawnee Indians for control of the Northwest Territory in the final battle of the North-West Indian war. Despite the Indians allegiance with British troops, victory belonged to the Americans, resulting in an end to major hostilities in the area for almost 20 years.

Players can choose to command either the Indian or American side in The Battle of Fallen Timbers campaign. The Delaware and Shawnee Indians are commanded by war chief Blue Jacket, who must ensure specific cities remain in Indian control by the end of the scenario. The Indian army has the advantage of better leadership and military quality at the start of the scenario, but face a tough challenge defending their cities against the vast US Legion troops that outnumber them 2:1.

Alternatively, players can take on the role of veteran General Anthony Wayne to command the Legion of the United States army. The Americans must gain control of key strategic cities plus two Indian cities by the end of the campaign to be successful. The Legion of the United States army begins with disadvantages of poor leadership and troop quality, although these will both improve as the game progresses. The American army must avoid venturing into the regions of Fort Miami and Detroit as this will activate and anger recuperating British troops.

The Battle of Fallen Timbers historically ended with the signing of the Treaty of Greenville, leading to the formation of Ohio as a modern day state. However, Birth of America II gives players the chance to change history, implementing the best attack and defence strategies in order ensure a victory for their side.

Righteous Kill - The Game of the movie released demo download

Merscom announce the release of Righteous Kill - The Game based on the new feature film by Overture Films, the film is due for release on September 12th.

Robert De Niro and Al Pacino star in the movie about two ageing New York City detectives chasing a vigilante serial killer. The video games' main character officer Erica Dean tries to catch the villain who's wiping out criminals who commit crimes against women.

The game takes in 16 different crime scenes containing more than one thousand objects. By collection clues players can piece together the solution for the murders.

Will Wright not offended by explicit SPORE creatures

The AP reports that the creator of the SPORE video game that allows users to create their own creatures is not offended by the explicit monsters they create.

He says when you give people control over video games then you have to expect some users will create creatures that resemble human organs...

The game SPORE due to be release on September 7th on Windows PC and Mac lets players create and inhabit their user generated universe. SPORE has been eight years in the making and the maker produced a stand-alone creature creation program released earlier this year.


Electronic Arts EA explain how the game works - the user can evolve their own universe from single cell organism to full civilisations.

Will Wright is famous for his other multi million selling video game simulator series The Sims. It became the best selling video game series of all time on PC and has generated millions of dollars revenue for EA.
