Indie developer, Andrea Cavuoto, director of the award-winning short film Underdog, is excited to announce that SPEAR will launch on January 9th 2025 for Xbox Series X|S.
SPEAR is a fast-paced 2.5D action platform game set in a digital world collapsing under the weight of countless bugs. Players step into the role of Default, a forgotten NPC armed with an improvised spear built from a broom and the mouse cursor. His mission? Defeat the bugs, fix the glitches, and save the project before the developers return from lunch and delete everything. The announcement is accompanied by a brand-new trailer, offering a first look at the abilities Default will unlock while traversing a variety of increasingly corrupted levels.
