Worms 2: Armageddon Team17 Battle Pack download from the App Store and PSN this week

Since launching on the PlayStation Network and the App Store this year, Worms 2: Armageddon has helped gamers create a whole lot of wormy destruction; with the release of the new "Battle Pack", however, things are about to get a whole lot more explosive for our favourite invertebrates!

The Worms 2: Armageddon "Battle Pack" is a downloadable content pack from Team17 containing new weapons and utilities, a new single-player campaign, tons of crazy new customization features, new trophies/awards and an all-new game mode amongst other upgrades to the original smash hit.

30 new single-player Deathmatches, a new “Warzone” theme and game-style, a “Forts Pro” game-style and a cluster (grenade) of new weapons and utilities, including termites, ferrets and worship statues means that there is plenty to keep the average Wormer occupied all through the holiday season. On the PlayStation®3, the Body Count mode pits a single worm against a never-ending army of enemies, with the aim being to amass the highest score on the brand new Bodycount leaderboards before eventually being laid to rest with your own signature tombstone. Speaking of signature touches, 10 new Forts and all new customization items make it even easier to recognize your foes online.
