Crackdown 2 Deluge Pack Game Add-on Unleashes Waves of Blazing Action to Pacific City

“Crackdown 2,” the action-packed Xbox 360 exclusive, gets its most riotous addition yet with the release of the “Deluge Pack” Game Add-on, available for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace starting today. Available in a trial version and a premium version for 560 Microsoft Points, the Game Add-on delivers a new adrenaline-fueled co-op arcade mode called Deluge which pits up to four players against increasingly more challenging waves of denizens from Pacific City.

To check out the explosive, gravity-defying action from the new “Deluge Pack,” and get a sneak peek at the highly anticipated “Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst” tower defence game for Windows Phone 7, hop on Xbox LIVE and watch the new trailer today.

The trial version of the Game Add-on includes the complete 16-player Capture the Orb mode, which introduces a “Crackdown” twist to capture the flag, as well as a single player, sample version of the Deluge cooperative mode. The premium version consists of all “Deluge Pack” content including the complete Deluge co-op mode, new Achievements, avatar awards, as well as the 16-player Capture the Orb mode for 560 Microsoft Points.

The “Crackdown 2” “Deluge Pack” Game Add-on also delivers a first-of-its-kind integration for Xbox LIVE members, directly tying activities and accomplishments earned in the new Windows Phone 7 tower defence game, “Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst,” with the Xbox 360 game. “Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst” uses Bing Maps to allow you to choose your home territory anywhere in the real world and defend it from an onslaught of Freaks and Cell Terrorists. Likewise, scores in Deluge can unlock new weapon upgrades in “Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst,” which will be available this November.

“Crackdown 2” builds exponentially upon the sizzling, action-packed game play of its predecessor, including the all new 4-player co-op and 16-player multiplayer modes. With formidable new enemies called the Cell and the Freaks standing in the way of the Agency’s goal to restore order, players return as genetically enhanced Agents in “Crackdown 2” to once again bring peace to Pacific City – by any means necessary. Sign in to your Xbox LIVE account to access the public demo today.
