‘Kung-Fu LIVE’ Video Game Challenges the World to Kick Ass at Gamescom 2010

Virtual Air Guitar Company Ltd, a Helsinki–based independent game developer and computer vision specialist, announced today to combatants across the globe an invitation to literally step into an epic fighting game like no other with Kung-Fu LIVE at the Gamescom trade fair in Cologne, Germany before it launches this Fall on PlayStation Network. Gamescom attendees of all ages interested in testing their skills can stop by Hall 6 - Open Booth C-033 from August 19th to the 22nd for their exclusive body-on trial of the game.

London-based development studio Mediatonic has announced Who’s That Flying?!, its second PlayStation Minis game for PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3. Who’s That Flying?! is a brand new, original IP and will be released exclusively as a download from Sony’s Playstation Network (PSN) store. Who’s That Flying?! is a side-scrolling shooter crossed with tower defense and courtroom drama, all doused in sheer awesomeness - AND THEN SET ON FIRE.

Blitz 1UP, an initiative from Blitz Games Studios, has announced the signing of Your Doodles Are Bugged! and its upcoming PC release. Previously released in February this year on Xbox Live Indie Games, Your Doodles are Bugged! is being brought to life for the PC with a host of new features. Other possible platforms for release are also being looked in to.

Interactive Entertainment for Yogi Bear: The Video Game. Yogi Bear: The Video Game will be for Wii and Nintendo DS and is slated for worldwide release this holiday season in conjunction with the big screen release of the all new movie Yogi Bear. Yogi Bear will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Retired NFL player sues EA for 'likeness' use in Madden NFL football games

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers football player Tony Davis is taking EA to court over the use of his likeness in Madden NFL football games. He alleged that EA avoided paying for the likenesses of retired players such as himself, trying to avoid payment by slightly altering details of players digital likeness in the games. No specific damages have been posted but sources suggest they are "likely to be in the tens of millions of dollars.".
