EA Play announces 'Spare Parts' video game

EA Play today announced Spare Parts, a new action adventure game for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network. Developed by EA Bright Light, Spare Parts tells the story of courageous robots Mar-T and Chip, who find themselves dumped out with the trash on a strange planet. Working together in co-op mode (either local or online), the mechanical duo must find a way to repair an abandoned space ship and escape the planet before evil Lord Krung can dispatch his henchmen to destroy them.

Gamebyro LightSpeed engine to be utilised by Longtail Studios

Longtail Studios and Emergent Game Technologies announced today a multiple game licensing deal to use Emergent’s groundbreaking development engine, Gamebryo LightSpeed. The first game to be developed and published under this agreement is Dance on Broadway for Wii which is launching in North America on June 15, 2010. The other in-development titles have not yet been announced but are planned for multiple console platforms.
