Dystopian 2D Metroidvania hit Cookie Cutter is coming this spring to the Nintendo Switch, as the Overkill Edition of the award-winning experience. Nintendo Switch players will finally get their chance to punch, stab, slice, and maul enemies as Cherry, a take-no-prisoners fembot trying to survive a twisted planet on the brink of destruction.
Developed by Subcult Joint LTD, the PAX West and NYX award-winning Cookie Cutter is a gorgeous hand-drawn Techno-Pop-Punk Post-Kawaii Metroidvania. Play as the heroine Cherry on a quest for revenge as you run, jump, explore, and fight your way through a beautifully blood-soaked world.
Cookie Cutter’s highly anticipated and requested release for the Nintendo Switch will feature an array of features, enhancements and improvements to both its gameplay and story.
These updates (and upgrades) include:
- Fully voiced dialogue for every character in the game.
- New map features including the ability to gauge completion status.
- Brand new special moves and upgrades for Cherry.
- New kinematics adding more style and background to the story.
- Tons of gameplay tweaks and progression balancing.
