Sonic and the Black Knight announced by Sega


A new addition to the Storybook Series of Sonic Titles.

Sonic and the Black Knight, an all-new Wii-exclusive adventure. Part of the storybook series of games that began with Sonic and the Secret Rings, this new title brings Sonic into the world of Arthurian legend and offers the worlds most infamous blue hedgehog the chance to become a knight. Using the unique Wii control system, this exciting game will take advantage of both the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk to offer an interactive experience that any Sonic fans will love.

Created by Sonic Team in Japan, this innovative game takes Sonic into a medieval world and arms him with a sword to aid in his effort to save the day. Sonic and the Black Knight will provide Sonic fans with an irresistible cast of characters and teach them all what it takes to be a true hero and the ultimate knight. With a series of missions taking place in stunning Arthurian-inspired locations, Sonic and the Black Knight promises to offer a fast-paced adventure that gamers of all ages will enjoy.

Eidos releases Tomb Raider: Underworld official teaser trailer

SACRED 2 - Fallen Angel a true notebook gaming experience.

Wii Fit shortage expected to last until Christmas - where to buy a Wii Fit...


Shops around Britain are running out of Wii Fit boards as health-conscious Britons have rushed out to buy the latest must-have exercise accessory.

The popular Nintendo video game attachment combines playing computer games with mild exercise. Priced around £70, it guides users through 40 exercise games including yoga, football skills and slalom skiing.

Nintendo says the games can 'change how you exercise, how you balance, and even how you move.'

Waiting lists have been reported to be growing by up to 1,000 people each day. Major online stores including Dixons, HMV and John Lewis are all out of stock.

Even Britain's largest supermarket chain Tesco is out of the product. Its website informs customers: 'Due to high demand for this product, additional stock is not currently expected from supplier until August.'

Now retailers fear their will be few of the consoles left for the Christmas rush.

Pi Story, Now in Open Beta


Open beta for Pi Story on the week of July 21, 2008.

Now players can have all the pieces of Pi Story they want and keep it. Aeria will not be wiping accounts after open beta has ended, rather allowing players to maintain playing throughout the commercial release.

Pi Story is a side-scrolling 2D game that allows players the functionality of user created content, Web 2.0 Technology and a wide array of game features.

Features of Pi Story:
• Events hosted by Game Masters such as Hide n’ Seek and Monster Spawns
• Prize giveaway that include iPod Shuffles and apparel
• User Created Content Web Diary that is unique to each player.

Available July 22, the NIN three-pack includes the psychotic audio thrill ride "Burn” from the Natural Born Killers soundtrack, “Capital G” from their conceptual fifth studio release Year Zero, and “Last” from the second studio release, EP Broken. Nine Inch Nails is the Grammy winning industrial rock act founded by producer, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, Trent Reznor more than 20 years ago with over 20 millions albums sold world wide.
