Cowboy Life Simulator debuts today on Steam, introducing players to a relaxing but expansive Wild West ranching experience.
The game combines open-world exploration, ranch building, farming, and story-driven progression set against a detailed frontier backdrop.
Players can develop their own homestead, raise animals, craft essential tools, and uncover the region’s secrets while interacting with a lively community. Cowboy Life Simulator launches in Early Access with a clear roadmap and ongoing content updates planned.

It’s a fresh take on the simulator genre, thanks to its strong narrative component. Numerous interesting characters will offer players quests and drive the progression. Some may even say it’s a story-driven sim game!
It features a unique progression system, with three interlocking pillars: Farm, Fame, and Frontier.
It’s a big game made by a small team! With about 20 hours of content in a small open world, we pulled it off with just a 7-person strong core team! We had folks helping out along the way, sure, but the core is lean and mean.
It’s Odd Qubit’s debut game, and it’s the very first game for most of us! Only Jimmy (the Game’s Director) and Adam (the 3D Artist) had previous game dev experience. The rest of us are all first-timers and career switchers (our programmer was a highway engineer!). Moreover, almost all of our gorgeous level art is the work of a single guy named Paweł!
The game was originally developed by a different team, which left the project. When we took over, we rebuilt the game from the ground up, significantly changing the design and code.
