Vivendi Games Mobile Brings The Bourne Conspiracy to Mobile Phones
Vivendi Games Mobile, a division of Vivendi Games, today announced the launch of Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy on mobile phones throughout Europe. The mobile game allows players to become Jason Bourne – experiencing the action as both the hunter and hunted, playing as both trained CIA assassin and marked government agent on the run.
The mobile experience features the signature Bourne-style action taking players deeper than ever before into the world of action and espionage. With a seamless blend of hand-to-hand combat, gunplay, dramatic escapes and driving, players will experience an adventure on their mobile phones like never before.

The game features a fully interactive environment allowing players to strategically use floors, doors, walls, and other features to take cover and wreak havoc on foes. With seven unique environments including Zurich (Switzerland), Vilnius (Lithuania), Marseille and Paris (France), players will challenge enemies in an all out battle as a highly trained CIA assassin.
Players have the ability to engage in hand-to-hand combat, access a variety of different weapons, disarm enemies and pick up ordinary objects as weapons and use them defensively. Players will also help Bourne escape intense chases by driving throughout the streets of Paris.

Aces of the Galaxy thrusts players into the midst of an epic kill or be killed space battle. Vivendi Games Mobile Announces Strong H1 2008 Lineup
Vivendi Games Mobile, a division of Vivendi Games, today unveiled its first-half 2008 lineup of mobile games featuring big brands and representing a variety of gaming genres, from first-person shooters to casual games. The titles featured in the first-half include popular film and television licenses – The Spiderwick Chronicles, The Bourne Conspiracy and Prison Break – that will bring non-stop action to mobile phones around the world.
“The titles that launch over the next few months position us strongly for the start of our second full year in the industry,” said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile. “The lineup features a wide range of genres, as well as an ideal balance between big licensed brands and owned IP.

Celebrity Hangman
The first mobile game featuring user-generated content within the universally known gameplay mechanics of hangman, and featuring a unique “pencil & paper” graphics look. Celebrity Hangman allows users to write their own pop-culture themed hangman lists and submit them to the Celebrity Hangman Web site for selection as new weekly download packs to which users are entitled to with download.
Crash Nitro Kart 2
A major sequel to Crash Nitro Kart®, the best-selling Crash Bandicoot® mobile game to date, incorporates best-in-class 3D graphics and gameplay. Players can choose from eight different characters, eight unique karts and 16 different track options. Crash Nitro Kart 2 features sensations of extreme speed with Turbo Plane mode and Mega Boost mode; a range of effects including weightlessness in underwater and outer space levels; oil splat projections on the mobile screen; falling rocks on the track; and other twists and turns. The game incorporates all the winning TV show elements, including the original plot and characters. Players prepare to escape by collecting items, conspiring with other inmates and gaining their support. In the escape attempt, players will solve puzzles by using collected items and their prison mates’ skills.
Pub Darts 180
Pub Darts 180 marks a long-anticipated return to the mobile gaming market for the “Pub Darts” franchise, first introduced in 2004. Pub Darts 180 lets players show off their flicking skills in a cozy tavern-like environment that recreates the atmosphere of a typical English pub. Vivendi Games Mobile’s first network-connected multiplayer game, Wordox: Word Snatcher is based on the popular Wordox online game which reached a peak of 2.5 million players in 2002. The title brings a competitive strategy twist to the word challenge genre by allowing the stealing of opponent’s letters to score extra points, and features an extended dictionary with more than 100,000 words. Online players can choose the multiplayer version and challenge real players, or the game can be played in single player mode against a virtual player.

World of Warcraft subscriber base now stands at 9.3 million
The company's financial statement attributed the results to a continuing strong performance from World of Warcraft, including The Burning Crusade expansion as well as the Chinese version released late in the third quarter.
The active global subscriber base for the game now stands at 9.3 million, the company said, with another expansion, The Wrath of the Lich King, due in the first half of 2008.
Overall Vivendi figures, including the company's other TV, music and telecoms subsidiaries, were up 11 per cent to EUR 5.42 billion for the quarter and 8 per cent to EUR 15.6 billion for the first nine months.

Vivendi Games Mobile's The Legend of Spyro
The Eternal Night Wins Best Mobile Game Award at French Video Game Festival
Vivendi Games Mobile, a division of Vivendi Games, today announced that the mobile game The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night was awarded the Best Mobile Video Game Award at the second annual Video Game Festival, in Montreuil, France. The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night game will be available on mobile phones worldwide in November.
The Spyro video game franchise to date has sold more than 15 million units globally and continues to be a big hit among both mobile and traditional console gamers. The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night console and handheld versions published by Sierra Entertainment will be available in October.
