WiLD casts players in the role of a young and vulnerable male or female seeking to not only survive, but to discover their latent shamanic abilities.
• Emergent Play – WiLD takes place in a living world where every creature can play a key role in your approach to problems. There are many ways to achieve goals in the game and WiLD encourages emergent gameplay in its systems.
• Incarnations – Play as a variety of wild animals. Players can become one with nature by earning the favour of god-like divinities and learn to possess animals in WiLD. From getting the birds-eye perspective of a hawk to leading a pack of wolves, players will have unique gameplay opportunities in animal form.
• Survival – In a beautiful but brutal world, survival is not guaranteed. Players will need to master the environment to survive.
• Structured Wilderness – WiLD is set in an enormous and lush world with huge variations in terrain types. The world is fictional, but heavily influenced by Northern Europe. This world is populated by animals, divinities and other humans. Shamans will be drawn to sacred landmarks to summon divinities into the world and unlock the secrets of WiLD.
