The Seventh Dragon RPG Opens second video game server New program to earn in-game currency play free now...

The Seventh Dragon RPGPlayers can earn in-game currency by opting to watch demos and completing surveys for new offers; no purchases required. Vector’s The Seventh Dragon, a F2P (Free-to-Play) browser-based persistent world simulation RPG playable on MACs, PCs, Netbooks, and via iPhones, has proven so successful that the company announced today it will open the second of several planned new servers.

“We’ve invested a lot of time listening to our players’ requests and analyzing various data to best decide how we can sustain the rapid growth of The Seventh Dragon,” said Takumi Wakai, head of the Business Strategy Department, “and we have initiated our server expansion program to let us more professionally operate the game.”

When gamers register, they can choose which server they would like to play on. If they would like to play on both servers, that is also possible. At this time, Server 1 hosts many well-established and high-level players. Players new to The Seventh Dragon as well as veteran players looking to begin again on a level playing field may choose to enter the as-of-yet untouched world offered by Server 2.

Vector is in the process of upgrading and expanding the way players can earn Diamonds – the in-game currency. Players will be able to watch selected videos, complete short surveys, etc., to earn Diamonds, making it possible to earn additional Diamonds without making a purchase. The list of new offers will be updated several times each week. If players want to get more Diamonds without participating in these “earn Diamonds” offers, they can continue to purchase Diamonds via PayPal, PayByCash, and the Ultimate Game Card. Vector is also expanding its payment options to include paying by mobile phone.

In the near future, Vector will look to increase the organic expansion of The Seventh Dragon’s user base by incorporating multiple in-game incentives for players to invite their friends and contacts to join the game. Details about this new, creative program are being tightly guarded as the team makes its final decisions on which in-game incentives to include. The program is expected to be introduced in phases, with a new collection of in-game incentives being announced in each phase.

About the game: The Seventh Dragon lives in a world in chaos

It is the 28th year of the Chronicle of the Seventh Dragons. The Asan Continent has fallen into tumultuous chaos caused by the marauding Devils and widespread looting by the Rebel Army. Mistrust among the Human, Elf, and Undead races reached a peak when the Devils conquered all the castles belonging to the Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Dark Elves.

Survivors of the Devil’s onslaught have gathered under Master Magician Salem, the current incarnation of The Seventh Dragon. Heroes and knights from each race assembled at the Heliopalace to recapture their lost capital, build cities, battle foes, and save the world from the conquering Devils.

Players are faced with multiple, simultaneous challenges to grow their starting castle into a huge city, gain great power, and defeat Caberos, the evil leader of the Devils. They must balance their resources to build structures (castles, magic towers, barracks, pet shops), acquire weapons (swords, magical wands, bows, aces), perform as a Hero (power, intelligence, stamina, agility, charm), join guilds, and win PvP battles in the Coliseum. The game’s “Beginner Protection” feature provides protection for new players for 216 hours (9 days) during which time they cannot be attacked by other players.

The Seventh Dragon uses a persistent system that continues the game even when off-line. It’s possible to play by giving instructions to your characters and setting production commands, then check on the results later.
