A UK MP has claimed that people don't care about video game ratings and children are losing their childhood because of this.In an interview with a national newspaper Iain Duncan Smith a Conservative MP has attacked the gaming industry for producing violent games (that old can of worms!).
He mentions Grand Theft Auto as an incredibly violent game, it just happens to be an incredibly successful game that millions of, non-violent, users enjoy.
It all boils down to family values and I don't think you'll ever change some attitudes despite ratings and guidelines.
