Wargods Online has grown and expanded in its first year. The twelve month celebration acknowledges the social gamers who have joined the battle, and offers them several new features.

Wargods Online was released on the MySpace and Facebook social networks on January 28, 2009. To mark the first anniversary, Enigma Games, Inc. will begin the 12 month celebration on Thursday, January 28th.

The monthly celebration is a feature unique to Wargods Online. Each one has a different focus, and introduces new features to the game.

“For this month's celebration we are focusing on achievements,” said President and CEO Xavier Moore. “Our players have been battling nonstop for a year now, and we want to take this time to acknowledge their dedication.”
New features this month are:
*Achievement medals - unlock character pets that can be used to show off in battle;
*Faction Wars – the battle has shifted to clans from each faction competing for dominance in Avalon;
*Avalon Epic Boss – named Sir Bors, he will challenge every warrior that enters Avalon; and
*Item Infusion

Wargods Online has come a long way in its first year. Enigma Games, Inc. took its mobile game Warriors, and expanded it into an online role playing game (RPG) for social networks. Over 97,000 players have joined on MySpace and Facebook, and continued growth is expected in the game's second year.

Reasons for the games popularity include a chat room where players can discuss tactics and form alliances, in-depth character customization, the monthly celebration, and ninjas. The game is free to play, but an internet connection is required.

The battle between players on different social networks has grown increasingly intense. Although MySpace held an early size advantage, Facebook has steadily gained players throughout the year and have recently dominated in the head-to-head battles.

The first year has also seen expansion of the Wargods Online franchise. A subscription service was added in October 2009, and a Wargods Online collectible card game was introduced in December 2009. Enigma Games, Inc. is also developing a mobile version for BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Mobile platforms.
