Atari Exclusively Hands Visitors to the World Famous Equestrian Event the Reigns of the FEI Licensed Video Game 'My Horse and Me 2'
Atari will present its forthcoming equestrian sports and lifestyle video game My Horse and Me 2 at the four star equestrian event Les Etoiles de Pau in South West France from 22 to 26 October. Visitors to booth number 42 will have the exclusive opportunity to play My Horse and Me 2 on Wii and Nintendo DS and could even win a Wii or DS console for themselves. Proudly bearing the exclusive worldwide license from the world’s foremost horse sports organisation, the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), My Horse and Me 2 is scheduled for European release in ten languages on Wii, Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS from 31 October 2008.
My Horse and Me 2 is the sequel to 2007’s successful equestrian sports and lifestyle video game. Visitors to the Atari booth will be able to experience first hand the new features in My Horse and Me 2 including more mini games and enhanced grooming and horse care games to build strong a bond between horse and rider, plus a complete eventing mode including jumping, dressage and cross country. Customisation options for horse and rider include choosing riding equipment, accessories and the rider’s outfit, while brand new graphics and animations offer the most realistic horse simulation ever seen in a game.
My Horse and Me 2 features beautifully rendered official and exclusive FEI courses including some of the world’s most prestigious venues from around the world. One of only six worldwide equestrian events at four star level, and this year, the culminating event in the newly created HSBC FEI Classics series, Les Etoiles de Pau is a key event in the equestrian calendar which attracts many top international riders and is this year expected to play host to 50,000 visitors over its four days.
My Horse and Me 2 is developed by Tate Interactive for PC, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS2, and Mistic for Nintento DS, and is scheduled for release across Europe on Wii, Xbox 360, PC on 31 October 2008, PlayStation 2 on 18 November 2008 and Nintendo DS on 28 November 2008.
