Mundaun - fourth BTS Episode for Folklore-Inspired Horror Adventure Game shows its Shining inspiration

In this fourth episode, “Hotel”, viewers will discover that Mundaun Hotel is not just an homage to The Shining, it is a real place and is quite haunted. The players will be able to feel the mood of Mundaun which inspired Michel Ziegler to create his game.

About Mundaun:
A lovingly hand-penciled horror adventure by Hidden Fields, a one-man studio founded by Swiss programmer and illustrator Michel Ziegler, set to release on PC and consoles on March 16, 2021. Mundaun is a tale set on the darker side of the Swiss Alps, with a story rooted in the chilling folklore of the region. Players follow a young man who travels to the town of Mundaun to investigate the mysterious circumstances behind his grandfather’s death.

Blizzard is the new global ritual that affects the whole map and every player on it. The cold slows down all movement and inflicts damage, while the landscape becomes covered with snow and ice. The only chance of survival is to get warmer using food, ritual fires, the heat from Molotov cocktails, jetpack, flamethrowers or even the volcano lava streams. Running and getting inside buildings also helps a bit. Obviously all warm places attract other players, so an ambush might await near any close fire.
