Classic point-and-click adventures The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav and The Dark Eye: Memoria on Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PlayStation. The games are set in Aventuria, one of Europe’s most popular role-playing worlds and are now available on consoles for the first time.

In The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav players take on the role of bird catcher Geron, who is tasked with helping the king establish peace by catching suspicious crows that plague the notoriously superstitious and conflict-ridden kingdom of Andergast. However, not only does Geron’s task prove unexpectedly difficult, it also turns out to be the first step of the greatest adventure of his life - leading him to the borders of the charted lands of Aventuria and beyond.

The Elder Scrolls Online Reveals “Blackwood” Chapter Releasing in June and “Gates of Oblivion” Year-Long Adventure

The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood is this year’s massive story Chapter, tasking players with uncovering the schemes of the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon 800 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. 

Blackwood packs more than 30 hours of new main storyline, tons of side quests, countless quality of life features, and, for the first time ever, introduces Companions who will adventure through Tamriel alongside the player. The new Chapter will take players from the walls of the Imperial City of Leyawiin, first featured in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, to the murky bogs of Shadowfen, and of course to the mysterious region of Blackwood where players will uncover the Daedric plot at its heart.

 New Life Content “Runaway Chickens” is now available at Bartali Farm. 10 chickens will try to escape from the farm when morning dawns. Adventurers must approach these chickens while they are sitting and wait until they have laid an egg. By interacting with the egg, there is a chance you will obtain a Golden Egg.

Annual New York Game Awards 2021 the winners... Hades wins a load...

Games and franchises from around the gaming ecosystem, both nostalgic and new, take home awards.

Hosted today by Reggie Fils-Aimé and Harold Goldberg, the New York Videogame Critics Circle celebrated the best in gaming at the 10th annual New York Game Awards held virtually for the first time. The organization bestowed its highest honor, the Big Apple Award for Best Game of the Year, to the action RPG, Hades from Supergiant Games. Winning over the critics, Hades took home multiple awards, including the Herman Melville Award for Best Writing in a Game, the Tin Pan Alley Award for Best Music in a Game and the Off Broadway Award for Best Indie Game. And, it’s not just music, writing and game play that stole the hearts of the video game critics, as the acting in the game was honored with the Great White Way Award for Best Acting in a Game for Logan Cunningham’s role as Lord Hades, Poseidon, Achilles, Charon, The Storyteller and Asterius in Hades. The New York Game Awards can still be viewed via Twitch and YouTube.

Star Trek Online Celebrates 11th Anniversary with New Season Launching Today on PC

Star Trek Online’s newest season, House Reborn, is available on PC and will release on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One at a later date. The beloved free-to-play MMORPG celebrates 11 years of expanding the emblematic Star Trek Universe for Captains around the globe with House Reborn, a brand new content update which kicks off Part 1 of the finale to the game’s epic Klingon War. 

The new season introduces two exciting featured episodes centered around Star Trek: Discovery’s L’Rell (voiced by Mary Chieffo, who originated the role) and Tenavik (voiced by guest star Sam Witwer). Captains will also discover a brand new Klingon Recruitment System, a Special Anniversary Event to earn the new Alliance Temer Rader and a complete revamp of the Klingon experience, including remastered environments, missions, stories and more. Aground 2D Survival RPG on consoles February 11

Aground is a resource-gathering and crafting game with a story, focused on the theme of progression. You start the game as a lone survivor from a shipwreck with almost nothing, and build your way up to a thriving settlement and eventually make your way to space and travel between planets.

With Aground, we wanted to try something a little different with the survival genre - we wanted a game that wasn’t an open world, but instead focused on progression and story. As David Maletz, Designer and Programmer for Aground put it: “I want to know why I'm mining or gathering resources - what's it all for?” This brought a breath of fresh air to the genre that players simply loved.
