Academia : School Simulator is a management game that lets you design, construct, and manage the high school of your dreams! As the school Principal, watch your students as they get bullied, find love, flunk exams, and basically just try to get through the roller-coaster ride that is high school. Will you offer the best teachers and facilities or cheap out and build giant classrooms with a 1:100 student to teacher ratio? It's all up to you.
Academia is being developed by Squeaky Wheel, an indie PC game studio based in the Philippines. Their members have works on games such as Prison Architect, Spacechem, and Order and Chaos : Duels. They released their first game called Political Animals last year.
Current Features:
The game is fully playable and has enough mechanics to keep you busy through a few in-game school years. Systems, like cooking, cleaning, hygiene, hunger, etc are already complete. There isn't a full fledged tutorial but a simpler to-do list system that guides the player on what to do. There are basic sound effects and music, and more will be added as time progresses.
