Hi all, firstly, thanks to everyone who turned up to play during the Sea of Thieves Closed Beta. We learned an invaluable amount of information, which has fed back into the game’s development. We wanted to give an update on our plans leading to launch.

Closed Beta learnings

One of our key goals was learning about what would happen when we hit a high number of players. We wanted to find out if there were any bottlenecks and if any of our messaging services had challenges processing the amount of data.

The response to the Closed Beta was humbling, where we saw increasing numbers of players every single day and saw more players log in than we’ve ever seen before.

FOX n FORESTS Blossoms on PS4 XOne Switch PC Mac Linux this Spring 2018

FOX n FORESTS, the retro 2D action platformer from EuroVideo and Bonus Level Entertainment, will come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux in spring 2018.

Sonic the Hedgehog Live-action CG animation film Premiere in the United States on November 15,

SEGA have reached an agreement with Paramount to co-produce a Sonic the Hedgehog feature film, set for theatrical release in the United States on November 15, 2019, then internationally around the world.

This move represents an important next-step in the expansion of the Sonic the Hedgehog IP, bringing the character to new audiences globally. As part of the IP strategy for Sonic the Hedgehog, SEGA Group has been working to expand this character beyond the video game market to become an entertainment franchise. Recently, Sonic has appeared as an animated character on television, consumer products, console and mobile games, and more.

TERA open beta on PlayStation 4 & Xbox One on March 9

The Open Beta for TERA on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will run from March 9, 2018 at 6:00 a.m. Pacific (PST) until March 12, 2018 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific (PST). PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will have access to the Beta by visiting the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store beginning on March 9.

TERA brings true action combat into a high fantasy MMORPG setting. Players explore a vast world where their combat skills are put to the test against deadly Big Ass Monsters (BAMs). They’ll need to actively dodge out of the way of incoming attacks, study enemy attack patterns, and execute precise skill combos to take them down!

Spellsworn PvP brawls released on March 13th - PC

PvP arena brawler, Spellsworn, will move out of Steam Early Access into a free to play commercial launch on March 13th. From today through to February 25th, players can enter fast-paced spellcasting matches in the Spellsworn Arena on Steam for free.
