SEGA's Head of Marketing John Rooke has hinted that classic Dreamcast games Shenmue and Shenmue II could be re-released due to the popularity of the Shenmue III Kickstarter campaign.

The Shenmue III Kickstarter campaign by Yu Suzuki had a target of $2 million and went on to raise $6 million! the game will be published in PS4 and PC formats.

Microsoft Xbox One update with backwards compatibility - play Mass Effect, Gears of War and Burnout Paradise - XO

On November 12th Microsoft will update the Xbox One to introduce backward compatibility allowing the console to play 'some' Xbox 360 titles including Mass Effect, Burnout Paradise and Gears of War.

Also in the November 12th update sees the introduction of the New Xbox One Experience with a new dashboard with a new guide, community section and OneGuide TV trending view.

Destiny new halloween update new maps, new quests and masks festival of the Lost

Destiny's first Halloween event, Festival of the Lost, will last until November 9th. Bringing with it a new PvP map, new quests and 16 masks.

Collect candy from your quest givers put on one of the masks you've been given and then earn more.

If you defeat an enemy, while wearing your mask, you'll earn more candy (yum). Once you've filled you sack with candy return to the base Tower and you can exchange it for more masks! Masks lack any stats, so combat is tougher while wearing one.

New standalone expansion coming as Driveclub Bikes gets rated - PS4

Sources are speculating that Evolution Studios will announce Driveclub Bikes today at PlayStation Paris Games Week press conference.

It's not clear if this will be a stand alone game of DLC expansion for the existing game, all will be revealed at 9am PT / 12pm ET.

Apar Games is looking to get funded on Kickstarter to expedite the production. It aims to launch early access on steam in March 2016 or earlier.
