UK sales of Nintendo Wii pass six million - fastest selling console in history but Nintendo's UK support still leaves a lot to be desired

Since its launch in December 2006 the Nintendo Wii video game console has become the fastest selling system in the UK with six million sold.

Nintendo can take some hope in these figures after a disappointing last few months that has seen the Nintendo Wii price drop.
