Marvel v Capcom 2 features the biggest roster of challengers to ever square off in a Capcom fighting game, a total of 56 combined brawlers from both the Capcom and Marvel universes. From the world of Capcom comes characters such as Ryu from the Street Fighter series, Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil games and unofficial company mascot Mega Man. Marvel is represented by some of its biggest names, including the Invincible Iron Man, Captain America, the Sentinel of Liberty, and War Machine, Weapon of S.H.I.E.L.D. Players can mix and match from both worlds in order to create their own ideal three man/woman/robot/monster team-up.

Marvel VS Capcom 2 is designed to be a gateway for new players to experience the fun of fighting games while providing a deep system for hardcore fighting fans to dig into. Action is based around colorful, exaggerated attacks that include gigantic projectile attacks (such as Ryu's fireball or Dr. Doom's Plasma Beam) and high-flying aerial moves (like Spider-Man's Maximum Spider or Cammy's Killer Bee Attack). The controls are somewhat simplified from the classic six-button system at the heart of Capcom games like Street Fighter® IV, utilizing a four-button control scheme for the action, with two "assist" buttons that pull in your team members for additional support.

Death to Spies - Moment of Truth Free Demo download

Aspyr Media and the leading Eastern and Central European publisher 1C Company release the demo for Death to Spies: Moment of Truth, the sequel to the popular stealth-action title Death to Spies.

The game's main character is Semion Strogov, Captain of the 4th department of the Soviet counterintelligence service called SMERSH. SMERSH literally means in Russian Death to Spies, which was the name for a set of counterintelligence departments in the Soviet Army formed during World War II. Strogov is back from his previous missions and must now participate in a series of even more complicated and exciting military operations under the code name Death to Spies: Moment of Truth.

The demo features a single level from the game called "Polish Surprise." In this level the player infiltrates a Nazi castle to destroy a weapons cache and intercept a radio transmission of top-secret intelligence.

The demo is available at http://files.aspyr.com/support/DTS_Demo_Installer.zip and Death to Spies: Moment of Truth is scheduled for release later this summer.

Multiplay to give away 5000 beta keys for Heroes of Newerth

Multiplay - one of the largest gaming communities in Europe - is pleased to announce it has 5,000 beta keys for S2 Games' Heroes of Newerth. The keys are for the closed beta and will be available from Monday 3rd August from Multiplay's gaming downloads site, www.fileplay.net.

La Tale moves to open beta with leveling event

After a very successful Closed Beta, Aeria Games has announced that La Tale will be progressing forward into Open Beta on July 30, 2009.

Aeria Games is celebrating the beginning of Open Beta with an exciting leveling event: The run for 80.
