Green Bay Packers’ Running Back Recruits Pro Football Greats for Charitable Panda Pop Gaming Challenge.

Panda Pop super fan and pro football star, Ty Montgomery, for a Panda Pop Save the Babies Event. Teaming up with Ty to support foster care families, Jam City will be donating $15,000 to the Coalition for Children, Youth & Families in his honor. Ty will be challenging his Green Bay teammates and other professional football players to rescue the baby pandas in Panda Pop, the world’s most popular bubble shooter game. Kicking off on Ty’s 25th birthday, for every 25 levels these pro players complete in Panda Pop between January 22-29, Jam City will donate an additional $2,500.

Natioal geographic Panda video game coming to Nintendo DS

Namco Bandai has announced that National Geographic Panda is coming To Nintendo DS.

National Geographic Panda gives DS owners a unique opportunity to teach, play and care for a group of fun loving panda bears in the serene Panda Park. The Panda’s can be rewarded for their good behavior with toys and new clothes that can be purchased with the daily allowance provided. In addition over 20 National Geographic articles will also be unlocked as the game is played, giving adoptive panda parents a chance to learn all about the lives of these majestic and endangered animals.

Kung Fu Panda voted best animation in a video game by the International Animated Film Society

The video game based on Dreamworks Animation's movie of the same name just scored an Annie, beating out Dead Space and Wall·E.

The 36th Annual Annie Awards threw down this past weekend, honoring the best that animated things have to offer, whether they be animated feature length movies, achievements in storyboarding or outstanding television commercials.
