Win All-Expenses Trip, Plus Two Tickets to American Idol Season Finale 7 - Free and Live on MyGame.com

King Tells American Idol Fans - You're Going to Hollywood – On Us

King, the world’s leading online social gaming company, announced today its second annual American Idol contest. The contest is free and open to all players that register on MyGame.com, and submit their American Idol game scores. The winner will be drawn at random on May 15, 2008 by an independent judge. Winners will be selected from the top 10 highest scoring players on MyGame.com. Game play is not restricted, so players can play as many times as they like until achieving and submitting a score they are satisfied with.

“Social gaming is one of the fastest growing segments within the online gaming world and we’re delighted to bring the American Idol brand to our players for the second year,” said Toby Rowland, co-Founder and co-CEO, King.

The game is a viral, engaging experience, testing players’ keyboard dexterity and ultimately bringing players’ right into the world of American Idol – including harsh judging and audience participation. After a player logs into the game and picks their own singing avatar, they move to the audition phase, which includes cheers and jeers, and tests the player’s attempt at ‘singing’, using the arrow keys on their keyboard.

Scoring is based on players’ skills with the arrow keys, which determines its virtual singer’s ability to hit the right notes, at the right time. Upon ending, players can register for their chance to win an all-expenses trip to Hollywood to attend the American Idol Season 7 Finale.

Official Rules:

• You must be a registered MyGame.com player, over 18 years of age and resident in the US to enter.
• To enter, you must play the King.com American Idol skill game at MyGame.com between noon, Eastern Standard Time ("EST") on April 8 2008 and noon, EST on May 15 2008.
• The winner will be the player whose name is drawn at random by an independent judge after noon on May 15 2008, from Mygame.com's list of top 10 highest scoring players that play the King American Idol skill game between the above dates.
• The prize winner will win a trip for 2, including round trip air fair from the winner's normal place of residence in the US, transfers, 2 nights' hotel accommodation and meals in Hollywood and 2 tickets to see the American Idol Finale in at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on May 20 and 21 2008.
• The winner must travel on the dates specified by King. If the winner cannot travel on the specified dates, the prize will be forfeit.
• The prize is not transferable and cannot be sold.
• The approximate retail value of the prize is $3,000; the actual retail value depends on where the winner normally lives.

WiiWare exclusive release win a prize even if you don't own a Wii

Mastiff Wants to Feed the Gaming World!

Win Gift Certificates for Burgers, Hotdogs, Pizza and More at the Major League Eating: The Game Website

Video game publisher Mastiff announced today its plan to feed the video gaming world - or at least a small part of it. Mastiff will honor each of the 12 foods found in its upcoming WiiWare exclusive release, Major League Eating: The Game with a weekly drawing. Each week, Mastiff will select a 'food of the week' and hold a drawing for gift certificates for that event, uh, 'food.' Anyone can enter - even if you don't own a Wii. Starting April 7, 2008, gamers can head to www.MLEGAME.com to register and (hopefully) win. Even better, Mastiff promised not to force feed you your prize if you do win.

"Professional gurgitory athletics is more than a hobby, more than a sport, more than a way of life. It's an encapsulation of mankind's history and struggle. Every drop of saliva, every bite, every postural tilt of the epiglottis and relaxation of the esophageal sphincter symbolizes the tension between mankind's base nature and the yoke of civilization. While my money is on base nature over civilization, offering free food seemed a civilized thing to do and a great way to hedge my bets" says Bill Swartz, Head Woof at Mastiff.

WiiWare, Nintendo's new downloadable game service for the Wii console, which launches May 12 in North America. Major League Eating: The Game will be available for download some time in May 2008. The official Major League Eating: The Game website launches on April 7, 2008.

The game features the world's greatest gurgitory athletes competing across a variety of foods and venues. Built much like a classic fighting game and deeper than a Chicago style deep-dish pizza, MLE: The Game requires players to master a smorgasbord of offensive and defensive weapons including bites, burps, belches, mustard gas and jalapeño flames while cramming and chewing food at a world-class pace. It's not for the faint of heart, the slow of reflex, or those with an overly strong aversion to a Technicolor reversal of fortune.

Major League Eating: The Game uses the Wii Remote to simulate a variety of eating techniques including the cram, toss, and 'typewriter.' Burp-offs and Hot Potato challenges during the contests keep the competition intense and eaters on their toes.
Major League Eating: The Game is for one or two players, offers online play and a leader board.

Major League Eating, the professional league which oversees all top eating events in the nation, including the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest, counts among its members Takeru Kobayashi, the Japanese eating phenomenon, and American Joey Chestnut, current champion of the world.

Win a solid gold domino with - Guinness Game's Puzzle The Legend of the Golden Domino

Guinness will be giving a solid gold domino to anyone clever enough to solve the puzzles in The Legend of the Golden Domino, a particularly devious online game.

The object of the game is to find the twelve numerical codes represented by the dominoes at the bottom of the screen. Each code unlocks a domino and reveals another clip from Guinness' new ad. Put the ad together and the golden domino is yours. Clues to the codes are hidden within the clips themselves, which are only a few seconds long.

So far I've only managed to find two codes, and the first one is flat-out given to you. Not terribly impressive, I know, but this is tough! The puzzles require a keen eye for detail, superior 'net-searching skills, and patience. Lots and lots of patience. Let me know if you make any progress.
