Fearing for his family's safety, Cole goes in search of Sonya Blade at the direction of Jax, a Special Forces Major who bears the same strange dragon marking Cole was born with. Sonicfox win Final Kombat 2020 finishing the Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition Season on top
Last night in the Final Kombat 2020, the championship finale of the Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition, in Chicago at the historic Park West theatre. Bringing together the top 16 Mortal Kombat 11 players from around the world, the tournament culminated with the back-to-back world champion, SonicFox, from the U.S. (playing as ‘The Joker’) defeating CGL NinjaKilla_212, also from the U.S., in an intense performance during the Grand Finals match to take home the Final Kombat 2020 trophy and the $40,000 first place prize.

New Mortal Kombat 11 First Spawn Gameplay 17th March as Part of the Kombat Pack
At Final Kombat 2020, the championship finale of the Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition esports series. A new Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer debuting Todd McFarlane’s fan-favourite comic book character, Spawn. The new video shows off the latest playable fighter’s iconic look, including his signature cape, chains, battle axe and more, which can all be used against opponents. The trailer also features two unreleased music tracks from heavy metal band, Trivium, entitled “IX” and “Scattering the Ashes.”
Spawn was formerly Al Simmons, the U.S. government's greatest soldier and most effective assassin, before being mercilessly executed by his own men. Resurrected from the ashes of his own grave in a flawed agreement with the powers of darkness, Simmons was reborn as a creature from the depths of Hell – a Hellspawn. Now, he is thrust into the world of Mortal Kombat 11, where he will fight for supremacy against all Kombatants.

New in-game events coming to Mortal Kombat 11 this month. The Be Mine Tower event (13th -17th February) within the Towers of Time game mode will be available as a free content update for all Mortal Kombat 11 owners and will feature heartfelt modifiers to use on your Valentine, including Mileena’s Teddy Bear, Cupid’s Arrows, Kandy Hearts, Falling Hearts and Roses.
Fighters can earn Brutalities and character skins for Kano, Jax and Kitana, along with player module pieces, as part of this in-game event.

The Winter Wonderland (22nd - 27th December) and Ring in the New Year (28th December through 2nd January) Tower events within the Towers of Time mode will be available as free content updates for all Mortal Kombat 11 owners. Both events will feature an array of celebratory modifiers, while allowing fighters to earn character skins, player module pieces, holiday-specific konsumables and other in-game rewards.

International DJ Dimitri Vegas and actor Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, also known as The Mountain from HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” will battle head-to-head in Mortal Kombat 11 via two different live matchups at Gamescom 2019 in Cologne, Germany.
First, Gamescom attendees can watch the EDM artist, Vegas, face-off in Mortal Kombat 11 against the Icelandic strongman, Björnsson, in the “The Music vs. The Muscle” matchup at the Google Stadia consumer booth, located in Hall 9 of the Koelnmesse, on 22nd August at 3.30 p.m. BST. Mortal Kombat 11 on Stadia will also be playable for the first time at the Stadia consumer booth during show hours.
