KiBORG Come Back Stronger Cybernetic Rogue-lite video game

KIBORG, the fast-paced action rogue-lite with brutal, cybernetic-enhanced combat from developer Sobaka Studio, pulverizes punks in a new demo, now available ahead of Steam Next Fest (Monday, February 24th – Monday, March 3rd), showcasing the game’s updated gameplay direction. Inspired by the response to the wave-based structure of prologue KIBORG: Arena, ascend a prison tower to earn freedom from a 1,300-year sentence. Devastate waves of inmates gunning for the same prize as protagonist Morgan Lee by using cybernetically enhanced implants, weapons, and brutal melee strikes. Upgrade implants and experiment with hundreds of combinations to survive, as death only means waking up and trying over and over again… Crush skulls with cybernetic implants and power-enhancing augmentations as Morgan Lee in hopes of winning a twisted game show with a tantalizing prize: freedom from a 1300-year prison sentence. Not even death grants respite the warden uses advanced resuscitation technology to ensure all inmates serve their time in full. The only way out is through bloody, brutal ascension on “The Last Ticket.” Thankfully, Morgan has some help from futuristic cybernetic implants and power-enhancing augmentations. Punish contestants with robotic arms, shock and vaporize foes with advanced weaponry, or just use good old fashioned melee strikes to punch off the enemy’s torso. Each new level of the prison tower brings new foes…and new ways to defeat them. Experiment with hundreds of combinations to discover deadly synergies to deviate from the norm and devastate foes with monstrous mutations no human should ever bear. Become an unkillable hybrid of man and machine, and deliver death to anyone and everything blocking the way to freedom. The KIBORG demo represents the first look at the brand new structure for the game, inspired by the now-delisted KIBORG: Arena prologue from Q3 2024. After fan feedback, Sobaka Studio decided to revamp the full game, taking the heart-pounding wave-based action and tower ascent of the prologue and building it out into a full experience. Play KIBORG’s Steam Next Fest demo available starting today, ahead of the Q2 2025 launch on Steam, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, with support for English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Russian, Japanese, and Korean language text.
