Import Rock Band 3 tracks into Rock Band 4 - PS4 XO

Two months after Rock Band 4 was released, you can import the soundtrack from Rock Band 3. Harmonix has added the Rock Band 3 export feature for both PS4 and Xbox One.

It costs $15 and you can export all 83 songs from Rock Band 3 you can't do it from the Xbox Live or PSN stores. It has to be through Rock Band 4's in-game store. Once you're verified as an owner of Rock Band 3, purchase the export option from the "Get More Songs" screen in Rock Band 4.


How do I export Rock Band 3 into Rock Band 4?

HOW TO EXPORT ROCK BAND 3 ON XBOX ONE

NOTE: Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection and are logged into the profile that owns Rock Band 3.

1. Start Rock Band 4.
2. Navigate to “Get More Songs”.
3. Scroll down to the new tab, “Exports”.
4. Select “Rock Band 3”.
5. Select “RB3 Disc Export Pack”.
6. If you have been verified, you will be taken through to a first-party purchase screen to complete the Rock Band 3 export.
7. Once you have purchased the export pack, you should see a confirmation screen that you have successfully purchased the Rock Band 3 export pack. You'll now be able to download the export just like you would for any other piece of content.
8. Once complete, navigate to your song library. The exported Rock Band 3 tracks should be available in your song library to play! Be sure to restart Rock Band 4 if you do not see your recently downloaded tracks in-game immediately.

HOW TO EXPORT ROCK BAND 3 ON PLAYSTATION 4

NOTE: Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection and are logged into the profile that owns Rock Band 3.

1. Start Rock Band 4.
2. Navigate to “Get More Songs”.
3. Scroll down to the new tab, “Exports”.
4. Select “Rock Band 3”.
5. Select “RB3 Disc Export Pack”.
6. If you have been verified, you will be taken through to a first-party purchase screen to complete the Rock Band 3 export.
7. Once you have purchased the export pack, you should see a confirmation screen that you have successfully purchased the Rock Band 3 export pack. From here, you will be able to download each individual single from the pack of 83 tracks. Press the white arrow located next to each track to begin the download process.
8. Once complete, navigate to your song library. The exported Rock Band 3 tracks should be available in your song library to play! Be sure to restart Rock Band 4 if you do not see your recently downloaded tracks in-game immediately.
9. You can always navigate to the "Add-Ons" section of Rock Band 4 in the Main Menu to download any individual tracks you did not initially download from the purchase completion screen.

Verification Process: We have implemented an automated process where we verify that your profile is entitled to purchase the Rock Band 3 export key. You are entitled to purchase the Rock Band 3 export key if you own Rock Band 3, either as a physical or digital copy, in the same console family. If the automated process does not work for you, and you feel like you are unfairly being denied the export key, please reach out to our customer service at the time of export.

A few notes regarding the Rock Band 3 Export:

You can only export Rock Band 3 through the in-game Rock Band Music Store in Rock Band 4. You will not be able to export through the first-party store or online.
All 83 on-disc tracks from the Rock Band 3 setlist will export.
The Rock Band 3 export should be available for European users sometime next week (12/14/2015-12/18/2015). Based on testing and submission dependencies, this date can sometimes vary by a couple of days.

Can I export Rock Band, Rock Band 2, Lego: Rock Band, Green Day: Rock Band, or The Beatles: Rock Band into Rock Band 4?

The Beatles: Rock Band is a standalone title and will not export into any other Rock Band game, including Rock Band 4. You will not be able to export these other legacy titles directly into Rock Band 4 - they must have been previously exported in order to re-download in Rock band 4.
