Three major updates have quietly released and one more is coming to the PC build of Hand of Fate, Defiant Development's award winning Kickstarter-funded title that blends action RPG and rogue-like features with elements of board and collectible card games.
The free updates have released one at a time through Steam in the month of December. The final download, Underworld, will release before the New Year.
The updates are:
Winter's Hunt: Discover then defeat the mythical White Minotaur
White Council: Uncover the secret of the Mages when investigating why The White Council has begun to increase its reach, demanding taxes and tariffs from neighboring towns
Hall of the Goblin King: Everyone's favorite poorly disguised Goblin, Mister Lionel, has a new quest. Journey to the hall of the Goblin King to steal his crown
Underworld: Take a trip into the depths of the underworld with the promise of riches and unspeakable danger
Since launch, Hand of Fate has garnered resounding acclaim with a 92 percent positive user review rating on Steam, a spot on the 50 Best RPGs on PC list from Rock Paper Shotgun and a Studio of the Year award for Defiant Development from the Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) Australian Video Game Developer Awards 2014.
Hand of Fate is available on Steam for $24.99. Console versions are also available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $19.99.
