There Will Be Blood. Bloody Loads of it. Ridiculously Bloody Blood Pack Launches for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution!
Have you ever been playing Dawn of War II and thought to yourself, ‘you know what this game needs more of? Blood.’? No. Neither have we but here at Relic we like to indulge in the unexpected, especially when it gives us an excuse to make the Ridiculously Bloody Blood Pack just in time for Halloween!
This pack, out today, costs £1.59/$1.99/€1.99 and significantly increases the frequency and size of the in-game blood effects. Watch in awe as Space Marines explode into a shower of blood upon projectile impacts that would make even Wes Craven wince. Gasp as resized and enlarged blood effects create rivers of red all over the screen that make the Crazy 88 scene in Kill Bill look like the aftermath of mild toe surgery. Did we mention the blood? There’s loads of it. So much in fact, it makes Patrick Bateman’s apartment look like the scene of a nasty paper cut. Are we making ourselves clear?
We are not messing about here. Fear not though, if you find all the blood too much, you can turn the effects in the game’s properties tab in Steam. We’d then recommend you have some milk and cookies and go to bed early.
