The PC disc version of Fallout 4 will NOT be complete, you'll need internet access and a steam account to install the game.
Bethesda boss Pete Hines Tweeted -
“You will still have to download from Steam. The disc doesn’t contain the entire game. A PC requires activation on Steam. Console does not. Console ship on Blu-rays, PC ships on DVDs”
The console disc versions are complete and don't require extra download content the reason? Hines confirmed that “piracy” is the reason why PC games require Steam activation.
Fallout 4 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 10.
