World Tour Fishing (WTF) is an Online Multiplayer Fishing Game (OMFG) simulating real world fishing locations from around the globe. Players challenge themselves to fish through the ranks to professional angler or sport fisher while competing against other players in daily and weekly tournaments. Spanning 3 continents and hundreds of the most sought after fish across the globe, WTF lets players experience ocean and river fishing without having to worry about licenses, overfishing, crowds or any of the other inconveniences with real world fishing.
Leading online game publisher, Games Campus, is pleased to announce the official launch date of World Tour Fishing's Closed Beta Test to begin December 5th, 2013! Users who have already registered at http://worldtourfishing.gamescampus.com will be able to join in the launch at 2:00pm PST (-8 GMT)!
Players will experience level 1 through 12 and the first country on their World Tour, fishing the premier locations for sports fishing and angling in Japan! With more than 200 varieties of fish to catch in Closed Beta, players will have their hands full with not only the game content but special events which give rewards both in game in Open Beta and tangible real world prizes! Players will compete in Daily Tournaments as well as collecting achievements for chances at electronics and gift cards to a variety of locations!
