Action MMORPG Excalibur now free-to-play - iOS

The highly anticipated iOS version for mobile game Excalibur was made free to download today, starting from 9am EST. The Action-Brawler MMORPG is available for iOS tablets and phones in the App Store, Apple’s digital application distribution platform. Excalibur’s App Store page can be found here.

Following the game’s release on both major mobile platforms, the focus of future updates is planned to turn toward further game content, including the long-awaited fourth playable class: the Archer.

R2Games and 337.com, joint publishers of Excalibur, are also holding contests and events to mark the occasion, offering players the chance to earn in-game rewards. More information on these can be found on the official site here.

Developed by Linekong, Excalibur is the world’s first side-scrolling action MMORPG on iOS and Android. Set in the realm of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, it combines a mix of MMORPG and classic beat ‘em up features. Players experience thrilling combat and immersive story at their fingertips with a choice of three unique classes: Wizards, Knights and Assassins. Adventure solo, team-up with others in exciting co-op quests, join a guild to seek greater glory, or ascend the ranks in explosive PvP action. The legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table comes to life in a beautifully rendered world in the palms of the player’s hands.
