Power Rangers Super Samurai video game coming to X360 Kinect

NAMCO BANDAI Games announce Power Rangers Super Samurai coming to Kinect for Xbox 360 this winter. Based on Saban’s Power Rangers Super Samurai players of all ages will be able to join the Rangers as they physically immerse themselves into the morphing action of the iconic team of heroes using the power of the Kinect sensor.

Power Rangers Super Samurai will let fans master the elements of Fire, Water, Sky, Forest, and Earth as they morph into Red, Blue, Pink, Green, or Yellow Rangers.

Martial arts training and fitness modes will teach the importance of teamwork, friendship, and responsibility that is needed to battle the evil Master Xandred and the malevolent Serrator. Players will also be able to help the Samurai Rangers use the legendary Black Box to create all new MegaZord combinations and become Super Samurai.

About Power Rangers Super Samurai

Combining comedy with action-filled storylines, the all-new half-hour series Power Rangers Super Samurai features a new cast of Rangers and never-before-seen villains, as well as high-octane action, martial arts and advanced special effects. From SCG Power Rangers LLC, an affiliate of Saban Brands, the long-running hit kids’ TV phenomenon, now heading into its 19th season, is helmed by Haim Saban, who created and produced the original “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” series in 1993. New episodes premiere Satudays at noon (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

Following its introduction in 1993, Power Rangers quickly became the most watched children’s television program in the United States. Emphasizing the importance of teamwork, responsibility and helping others by following the adventures of a group of ordinary young people who “morphed” into superheroes, the series was seen in more than 60 countries, translated into numerous languages, and was a mainstay in the most prominent international children’s programming blocks.

It rose to rank as the No 1 boys brand in the world from 1993-97, based on toy sales and television ratings. To date, Power Rangers licensed products and promotions have generated well over $5 billion in retail sales worldwide.
