The first major update for their pirate action MMO, Pockie Pirates. The update, fully titled “Pockie Pirates Chapter II: Beloved Mr. 2”, will be released in early August.
In celebration of the on-going successful open beta stage, publisher NGames are unleashing the first major update for their pirate-inspired side-scrolling action MMORPG, Pockie Pirates.
The "Chapter II: Beloved Mr. 2" update is based on the abilities of the bonkers Bonkure Mr. 2, the famous all-singing, all-dancing drag queen with the power to transform into anybody he touches.
The update introduces players to the ability to transform into any character they have previously recruited into their pirate crews. Now, players can spend 1 transformation card, or 10 in-game gold, and instantly turn into their most beloved characters – with no limit on the amount of time they remain in their boots.
What better way to get the upper-hand on your opponent than transforming into somebody else and surprising them with new looks and skills?
NGames have also teased an "advanced transformation" technique, which is still under development and set to be released soon.
The "Beloved Mr. 2" update also promises further improvements to the crew system, thanks to the introduction of the anticipated Crew Recall feature.
Advanced pirates that have been fired by players will now remain in a Logbook, instead of simply going back to the bar to down a few drinks between missions.
Crew Recall will allow players to easily call the pirates back to their crews by spending 10 gold to recruit them on the spot, significantly reducing travel time for crew building.
Recalled pirates will have the exact same attributes they held when the players fired them - no progress is lost.
