Skyrim - How anyone can craft Daedric armour

Daedric armour looks like something you get at the end of Skyrim however anyone, at any level, can make their own full set in two hours with few thousand gold.

Here's the step-by-step instructions.

  • Go to the blacksmith in Windhelm - buy up all his iron ingots and leather strips. Wait 48 hours for his items to refresh and repeat.
  • With a decent amount of iron, visit a forge and craft iron daggers. You'll notice your smithing level rapidly gains and your character will also go up a few levels. Wear any gear that boosts smithing, like an amulet or gauntlets and drink any smithing potions.
  • Keep the daggers until your smithing level is 100 (after around 500-600 daggers). If you run out of ingots or leather strips visit the blacksmith again.
  • As your character levels up due to smithing, use perk points to upgrade your smithing skill tree. Upgrade from steel to Dwarven to Orcish to Daedric.
  • After reaching 100 smithing, you may not have enough perk points to reach the Daedric crafting skill. Just continue playing Skyrim until you level up naturally.
  • You'll need some Daedra hearts. It take one heart piece each for the armour set - helmet, gauntlets, boots and chest plate. Go to the College of Winterhold and find an elf called Enthir -usually found in the Hall of Attainment. Talk to him and buy his two Daedra hearts (that's all he holds). Wait 48 hours he'll restock then buy two more.
  • Next you'll need some ebony. Travel to Gloombound Mine. To enter you'll have to help the Orcs with a super easy quest, or you could just fight your way in. The quest is quicker!
  • Once in go to the mine entrance where there's a full set of blacksmith tools, you'll need them later.
  • No enemies inhabit the mine however there's lots of ebony. Find a pickaxe they're lying around. Mine the ebony veins and clear the place out just ignore the Orcs as they won't attack you unless you provoke them.
  • Back outside use the nearby smelter and turn the ebony ore into ebony ingots. You now have enough to craft the full set of Daedric armour.
