Those eager to get an idea of which songs which will be featured on the latest game in the best-selling Wii series should head to the official We Sing Facebook page (
Facebook fans will be able to enter a competition to guess the tracks being hummed – those with the most number of correct entries by the end of the week will be entered into a draw to win one of three copies of the game, complete with a pair of microphones.
“We wanted to try something slightly different to the standard tracklist announcement,” says Nik Blower, Sales and Marketing Director, Nordic Games. “What began as an off-the-cuff idea actually morphed into a brilliant day’s filming – we think we could have stumbled across some real stars in the making.”
“Whilst the official confirmation won’t come until all 15 performances are uploaded, some of the performances will leave no doubt as to which of the songs are being hummed. Others, however, are a little more ambiguous – but that is part of the fun.”
We Sing Rock! will include some never-before-featured classic rock songs alongside modern head bangers. Covering five incredible decades of rock music, the tracklist is shaping up to be one of the greatest collections of rock songs on a singing game ever.
Fun for all the family, We Sing is the only singing series of games to support four players in any Party mode, using four separate microphones. Party mode includes We Sing, Versus, Group Battle, Pass The Mic, First to X, Marathon, Blind and Expert.
There’s also Solo mode and Karaoke mode, which strips the track of vocals to really challenge players, or those that fancy an authentic karaoke experience.
Other features include Singing Lessons to help singers fine tune their voices and a Jukebox to queue up songs like their own personal music channel.
In-game awards come from playing either single or multiplayer modes, adding further depth and replay value to We Sing Rock!. Plus, once a track has been sung, players can replay performances and add cool effects to their voice.
More information including release date will be announced in coming weeks.
