Pure Nintendo would like to announce a 48-hour live stream video game marathon to help raise money in support of a local cancer patient. The 48-hour will kick off on August 20th at 7 pm ET.

The marathon will support Daniel Harper, who is a 25-year-old married man who is battling a brain tumor for the 2nd time. Harper and his wife have been moving from treatment to treatment over the past six months, which has ultimately landed them back at Harper’s family home. You can check out Daniel’s full story at his blog. http://precisionpoints.wordpress.com/about/

About the live stream
This time Pure Nintendo has decided to hold an online gaming marathon. This marathon will consist of Nintendo Wii games that have online capabilities; ie Conduit 2, Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, just to name a few. Pure Nintendo is hoping that people will tune in to support and play against the crew as they battle through the 48-hours.
