SOCOM Special Forces gaming site launches tournament for online shooter

With the second phase of the beta having begun, it is clear that the overall feedback for the game has been overwhelming. Community members are treating this beta as if it were the real game! With this in mind, ConsoleGaming have partnered up with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe who are sponsoring a tournament on the new SOCOM, which will take place on the beta itself.

By subscribing to PlayStation Plus, PS3 owners can obtain access to this beta and participate alongside the most active and competitive European SOCOM community at ConsoleGaming. Winners of the kick-off beta tournament will receive a copy of SOCOM: Special Forces courtesy of the official sponsors, SCEE.
