PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour Trailer Wii PS3 X360

PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour builds on the successes of its predecessors, featuring international superstars like Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, James Wade, Mervyn King, Simon Whitlock and Jelle Klaasen.

Plus updated graphics, character models, and an optimised control system. PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour provides fluid, accurate and simple throwing dynamics, getting players closer to the action than ever before.

The latest iteration in the phenomenally successful franchise has evolved to support the latest developments in motion control gaming and will feature full PlayStation Move motion controller and Wii Motion+ support, in addition to standard PS3 and Xbox 360 control pads – allowing more players more ways of joining the game.

Further establishing its heritage as the definitive darts game for fans of the sport, PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour’s in-depth career mode will also support the latest tournaments, including the Grand Slam of Darts, a new fixture in the PDC events calendar. Player View puts you at The Oche in the eyes of a Pro, with gamers being able to control player celebrations. Plus the atmosphere will be further enhanced with an all-new commentary from TV’s ‘Voice of Darts’ Sid Waddell and John Gwynne; top level match referees, Bruce Spendley and Russ Bray; and Master of Ceremonies, John McDonald. O-Games has also confirmed online 1-on-1 matches for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers.

PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour lines up at the Oche on 26th November 2010 for WiiT, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. For the first time, the series implements the innovations provided by the PlayStation Move and Wii MotionPlus controllers.

The PlayStation 3 version of PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour is also supported by exclusive downloadable content that is also available today via PSN. The DLC pack will add two new Professional Darts Corporation players to the mix – Peter Manley (2003 LVDC winner) and Wayne Mardle (2004 and 2005 LVDC runner-up). Once added to the player roster, gamers will be able to play as or play against these colourful characters. Also featured as part of the DLC pack is the Las Vegas Desert Classic set and tournament. Consisting of five rounds, this new feature incorporates a straight legs format for 32 competitors and is open to all in Career mode.

The games publisher is teaming up with PDC darts referee Russ Bray in a Facebook search for the public’s own interpretation of Bray’s famous ‘180!’ catchphrase. Entrants are encouraged to film a short video of themselves saying ‘180!’, and then share it with the official PDC World Championship Darts: Pro Tour community by uploading the video to the official Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pdcworldchampionshipdartsprotour.

All entries will be judged by a panel fronted by Russ Bray and O-Games. The promotion will run until Friday 17th December, with only those demonstrating to the judging panel that they can ‘bray like Bray’ being in with the chance of winning top prizes.
