gPotato is delighted to announce that Trial of the Ancestors, the new expansion for its manga-style browser MMO Canaan Online, goes live today. Players will find that the world of Canaan Online has grown substantially, with a brand new zone, Sunmill, two new dungeons, and a challenge instance, Tower of Ancestors.

With the level cap increased from 80 to 100, play is further extended with new features for guilds – the ability to construct buildings which will bring new daily quests, and the opportunity to engage in combat against other guilds in the Prestige battle, or to compete for resources.

Away from the battlefield, players in Trial of the Ancestors also gain the ability to fly – using demon’s wings or on a magic carpet perhaps – in order to cover the playing terrain faster. And for those players who really are lovers rather than fighters, a marriage feature has been introduced into the game. Players can get married and go adventuring together with extra experience and gold to be earned as a partnership.

If you haven’t already discovered the charms – and the fiendishly challenging quests - of Canaan Online, then why not sign up for Trial of the Ancestors? Canaan Online is a free-browser based MMO with no download required: just register at the official website at http://canaan.gpotato.eu or log in with your existing gPotato.eu account details, and you can play straightaway!
