At August 20th, 2009 the fourth season of the global league of eSports champions, Intel Extreme Masters, kicked off at gamescom in Cologne. With an overall prize-money of 530,000 US-Dollar, the Intel Extreme Masters are the worldwide most endowed professional online gaming tournament.
After stops in China, Dubai, Canada, Germany and Taiwan the global league of eSports champions hits its peak at CeBIT 2010. Over 3,200 m² exhibition area all about gaming, entertainment and the latest technology establish the setting for the world's best gamers' championship.
World Championship Finals at the Intel Gaming Hall
The World Championship Finals determine the world's greatest eSports champions from March 2nd until March 6th at the CeBIT trade fair at the Intel Gaming Hall (Hall 23) in the disciplines Counter-Strike 1.6, Quake Live and World of Warcraft.
